This study aims to find out: 1) To find out whether the reward has an influence on the performance of employees of the pharmacy installation section in Muntilan Regional General Hospital Magelang Regency, Central Java 2) To determine whether punishment has an influence on the performance of employees of the pharmaceutical installation department at Muntilan Regional General Hospital Magelang Regency, Central Java 3) To find out whether reward and punishment have a joint influence on the performance of employees in the pharmaceutical installation section at the Muntilan Regional General Hospital, Magelang Regency, Central Java
The research method used is a quantitative method with a sample of 30 employees with saturated sampling techniques. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews, documentation, literature studies and questionnaires from primary data and secondary data. While the method of data analysis the author uses the method of testing the characteristics of respondents, test validity and reliability, normality test, Analysis of the Coefficient of Determinants (R2), Partial Test (t test), Simultaneous test (F test), and Multiple Regression Test.
The results of the study can be concluded that: 1) There is an influence between the Reward variable and the Punishment variable jointly on the employee performance variables of the Muntilan Hospital pharmacy installation section based on the F test results, obtained F count> F table namely 5.276> 3.356. 2) There is no influence between the Reward variable and the Punishment variable partially on the employee performance variable of the Muntilan Hospital pharmaceutical installation section based on the T test calculation, obtained T count <T table that is 1,131 <2,048 and T count <T table which is 1,530 <2,048. 3) Correlation between Reward variable and Punishment variable partially to employee performance variables at Muntilan Hospital pharmaceutical installation section based on the calculation of 0.281 R2 ie weak and 4) Regression equation obtained is Y = 12.638 + 0.214 X1 + 0.296 X2 + e
