Human resources are very important for an agency, as well as for hospitals which in fact require a lot of competent human resources and have the ability to work well. This is important because hospitals provide services for many people, especially for patients who are going for treatment. Employee skills and loyalty are needed in hospitals, so that the hospital also has an interest in the performance of its employees so that service is maximum and there are minimal errors.

Morale and motivation are influenced by several factors, for example the workload carried by each employee. The type of work and the tight working hours in the hospital make employees have a tendency to change in carrying out their work, therefore the hospital always encourages and motivates its employees to maintain the quality of service to patients.

Workload can also affect employee performance, because workload is a number of activities that must be completed by an organizational unit or incumbent within a certain period of time. The high workload at Bhayangkara Polda Yogyakarta Hospital is indicated by the existence of targets that must be achieved for each activity in order to be able to compete with other hospitals.
