Differences in motivation have an effect on learning achievement of Epidemiology Management course. Non-intellectual factors such as regional origin will also be a bit more influential in the learning process by requiring smooth communication. The grouping of students based on the origin of the region comes from the very contrast of differences in knowledge and understanding of students coming from Java with students from outside Java. This study aims to analyze the relationship between learning motivation and local origin with student achievement in Academy of Management Administration.

The subjects of the study were 100 students. The independent variables in the research are the motivation, educational background and the origin of the student area and the dependent variable is the learning achievement.
